Renowned Pakistani comedian Iftikhar Thakur broke down in tears while talking about his trip to Medina.
Iftikhar Thakur recently appeared as a guest on a podcast where he talked about several different topics.
Narrating his trip to Madinah in this podcast, he said, “When I was visiting Bab al-Salam, my blood pressure was constantly decreasing.”
He said that ‘I was trembling at the time of visiting Rasool’s shrine, it was difficult for me to cross the place out of respect and this is a feeling that I cannot describe’.
He further said that ‘After I had the opportunity to visit Bab Al-Jabreel (a.s.), Bab al-Balal (a.s.) came back and dreamed the whole night. Allah and the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) are so kind that they called me to visit their holy feet and for this kindness. Even if I spend my whole life in prostration, I cannot be grateful.
Iftikhar Thakur said, “I can tell the location of all the holy places in Makkah and Madinah. I remember the maps there. I spent 13 years as a Khadim during the Hajj days in Saudi Arabia to help the missing pilgrims from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.” I have been going’.
He said that ‘Madinah cannot be described in words, it can only be felt and as long as you are in Madinah, your life will be peaceful’.
He praised Madinah and said, “I have traveled to about 40 countries in my life, but there is no other place on earth like Madinah.”
