Criminals killed 5-year-old Umar Rathore in 2019 after kidnapping.
Islamabad: The court issued two death sentences to three criminals for the kidnapping and murder of a five-year-old child.
The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has released the written judgment of the case related to the kidnapping and murder of 5-year-old Umar Rathore, this judgment consists of 37 pages, which has been issued by Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani.
The written order said that the accused Aftab Zafar, Hamza Jahangir and Muhammad Yasir have been convicted, there is insufficient evidence against the fourth accused Asad Mumtaz and the charge could not be proved on the basis of suspicion, the main criminals Aftab Zafar, Hamza Jahangir and Mohammad Yasir is sentenced to death twice.
The written order said that the main culprits should pay a fine of Rs. A copy of which was provided to the court, the accused have the right to appeal against the court decision within seven days.
According to the written order, statements of 25 witnesses were recorded during the trial, 94 documentary evidences related to the case were presented by the police during the trial, 41 recoveries from the criminals were also presented in the court by the police.
