The Arab national was acquitted of the serious charge and the Dubai Court of Appeal found him not guilty of entering a women’s dressing room and abusing him.
According to foreign media, an Arab citizen was accused of entering the women’s dressing room in a hotel and molesting the women there. However, the appellate court has canceled the decision of the primary court and acquitted him of the alleged charges.
Two women working in the hotel restaurant filed a police report against the said citizen, after which he was arrested and produced in court.
The primary court had said in its verdict that the Arab national raped the two complainant women in the women’s dressing room. The accused committed the crime by taking advantage of the absence of CC cameras there and left the dressing room after the crime.
The primary court’s conviction was appealed to the Court of Appeal where the accused refused to accept the charges against him while his lawyer presented evidence that his client was deliberately falsely accused. The said women wanted to get money from him for withdrawing the case.
The Appellate Court, looking at the evidence, acquitted the accused of these charges.
