The reality of the travel advisory of Pakistanis in America and Canada has come to light

The travel advisory of citizens of Pakistani origin in America and Canada turned out to be false. The fake propaganda was also denied by the US State Department.

A political party had propagated for political purposes that those going to Pakistan from America and Canada should not use NICOP but should go to Pakistan by affixing a visa on their American or Canadian passport.

It was also propagandized that those traveling on US or Canadian passports instead of NICOP would have immigration records in Pakistan as US or Canadian citizens and would get the same benefits as US or Canadian citizens.

A political party spread false information about Pakistanis living abroad and American citizens living in Pakistan.

It was also propagated that America has put Pakistan on the watch list and imposed a travel ban. The US State Department also denied this fake propaganda.

The US Department of State said in a statement on the social networking website Twitter that it is aware of fake travel warnings, official travel advisories for US citizens living in Pakistan are issued only through the official State Department website.
