Karachi: 2 bandits posing as customers near Clifton Zamzam escaped from a jewelery shop after looting Rs 50 lakh in cash and high-value gold jewellery.
According to SSP South Asad Raza, the woman owner of the jewelery shop has told that 2 people came to her shop who had placed an order to make nose cloves a month ago and when they came to pick up their order, they were gunned down. 50 lakh rupees in cash and a gold set kept in the shop and escaped.
The woman says that when the robbers came, she was alone in the shop, while the value of the looted jewelery is around 6 lakh rupees.
SSP South says that the police is getting the footages of the closed circuit cameras with the help of which further investigation will be done regarding the accused, Clifton police has registered a case of the incident.
