Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s propaganda against institutions over the killing of a young man in the capital Islamabad failed.
According to the police spokesman, a tortured body was found in Islamabad’s G-11 sector, which was identified as Qamar Riaz. Initial investigation suspected honor killing.
Islamabad Capital Police Officer says that Qamar Riaz was killed by the woman’s husband on the suspicion of having an illicit relationship with the woman, the four murderers are in the custody of Ramna Police.
IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir Khan has confirmed that the woman’s husband killed Malikar Qamar Riaz along with his accomplices Altaf, Allah Dawaya and Waseem, the police have taken the accused into custody.
He said that the use of crimes as political propaganda by a political party is condemnable, legal action will also be taken against those who are spreading false news. After the arrest of the real accused, where will those who color the political murder hide their faces now?
On the other hand, political party followers on social media tried to blame Qamar Riaz, who was killed in G-11, on government institutions.
Outcry was raised by overseas Pakistanis and social media wings that the state killed a political activist in custody.
