Well-known Bollywood dancer Vadakara Nora Fatehi has expressed her desire to be a part of any film made on the life of actress Helen of the famous Bollywood film ‘Sholay’.
Nora Fathi is a big fan of the famous actress Helen of yesteryear and recently she paid tribute to the senior Indian actress at an award show held in Abu Dhabi.
To pay tribute to actress Helen, Nora Fatehi won the hearts of all the participants with a 10-minute performance of her famous songs ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and ‘Piya To’.
Talking about her performance at the award show, she said, “I studied all the videos of these songs properly for this performance, even thinking about every little dance step.
During this interview, when Noora Fathi was asked that ‘if you get an offer to work in a biopic of Helen, would you act?’
In response to this question, he said, ‘Of course it would be an honor for me!’
She added, ‘I mean, if filmmakers ever think about me, I think we have a lot in common, so I would definitely do a Helen biopic.
Talking about the similarity between herself and Helen, Noora Fathi said that she came to India from a different country and I also came to India from abroad. Introduced to the industry and that too a different type of dance that was not very popular in Bollywood.
She said, “Both of us changed the meaning of dance in cinema, so if a filmmaker wants to show Helen’s role closer to reality on screen, I think I can adapt myself to this role.”
