ABU DHABI: Dubai, the city of the United Arab Emirates, has seen a record increase in tourism, with more than 6 million tourists visiting Dubai.
According to Urdu News, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism says that there has been an extraordinary improvement in the performance of the tourism sector and an increase in the number of foreign tourists has been recorded.
The Department of Economy and Tourism said that 6.02 million foreign tourists visited Dubai during the first four months of this year, an 18 percent increase compared to the first four months of 2022.

The department says that during the first 4 months of this year, most tourists came from India, their number was recorded at more than 86,000, while 4,74,000 came from Russia, 3,91,000 from Great Britain and 3,000,000. 52 thousand came from Saudi Arabia.
The Department of Tourism pointed out that hotels in Dubai were 80 percent occupied during the current year, compared to 76 percent during the same period in 2022.
