The incidents of rape in India could not stop. A painful incident of gang rape of a young girl took place in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to local media reports, a boy named Mahaveer kidnapped the girl on January 30 and attempted to gang-rape her on March 28 along with his accomplices. When the accused resisted, the girl was sprinkled with petrol and set on fire.
The accused themselves called the victim’s father and informed him that we have raped your daughter and set her on fire.

The father immediately informed the police about this, on which a special team was formed. The team reached the place indicated by the accused and shifted the victim girl to the hospital in critical condition.
More than 60 percent of the victim’s body was burnt. On May 16, her condition worsened again and she was taken to the hospital, but she could not survive.
The special team conducted raids in various areas to search for the accused and succeeded in arresting them. The accused were sent to jail while further legal action will be taken against them.
