Rawalpindi: 2 terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces in North Waziristan.
According to an ISPR statement, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dosali area of South Waziristan on information about the presence of terrorists.
The statement said that during the operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists, as a result of which 2 terrorists were killed, and arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent civilians.
The search operation is going on to eliminate other terrorists in the area, the residents of the area have appreciated the action of the forces and expressed full cooperation to end the menace of terrorism.
