Bollywood director Laxman Atekar has revealed the reason for not casting his wife and actress Katrina Kaif opposite actor Vicky Kaushal in the upcoming film ‘Zara Hit Ke Zara Bach Ke’.
According to foreign media reports, the upcoming movie ‘Zara Hit Ke Zara Bach Ke’ will see actress Sara Ali Khan and actor Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
These days, the promotional campaign of the said film is going on, during the promotion of the film, the director of the film, Laxman Attaker, was asked why he did not cast Bollywood’s barbie doll Katrina Kaif for the lead role of the film.
Answering this question during the interview, the director said that I did not think that Katrina Kaif could play the role of a daughter-in-law of a middle-class Joite family. If Katrina Kaif could understand the language, I would have cast her.
He added that do you think Katrina Kaif is a small town heroine? I would definitely like to work with Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif if I get a good script in future that suits them.
It should be noted that Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal’s romantic comedy movie ‘Zara Hit Ke Zara Bach Ke’ tells the story of a married couple who get fed up with the problems of life and decide to divorce. The film will hit theaters on June 2.
