It has been a year since Bollywood’s famous playback singer Krishna Krishna Kumar Kunath popularly known as KK left his fans.
It should be noted that last year, Krishna Kumar Kanath (KK) died at the age of 53 due to a heart attack after a concert performance.
He was invited for a concert in a college in Calcutta, he complained of unwellness even during the live performance in the concert. On which he was immediately shifted to the hospital where the doctors confirmed his death.
On the occasion of KK’s death anniversary, his co-singer Shaan during a recent interview remembered his long time and late friend saying that KK was one of the best singers of India, we both were like a family, I remember when he When I found out about his death, I thought it was a joke, but when I realized that it was true, I was devastated.
He recalled his long-time friend and late singer, saying that he recorded more than 25 songs with him, spent the best years of his life with him. KK was the most disciplined among the circle of friends, he never smoked or drank alcohol. No one could have imagined that he would die of a heart attack, he was perfectly healthy.
He further said that whenever I remember many of his words after his departure, I realize that he has spoken many deep things by chance.
It may be noted that KK has performed his vocal magic in several language films including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Hindi and Gujarati films.
His debut album ‘Pull’ was released in 1999, but after that he focused on songs in Bollywood.
He has sung the famous song ‘Tarap Tarap Ke’ from the blockbuster film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, the song ‘Dus Bahane’ from the film ‘Dus’, the song ‘Tu Ne Maari Entriyaan’ from the film ‘Ghande’ and the film ‘Woh Sansam’. ‘ has also sung the famous song ‘Kya Muhe Pyaar Hai’, while he has a long list of songs in films.
Born in Delhi, KK was also known for his performances during live shows.
