Ottawa: A landlord in Canada became enraged after seeing the poor condition of his house and opened fire on the tenants, resulting in the death of two people.
According to the international news agency, the 28-year-old man lived in a rented house with his 27-year-old fiancee in Hamilton, Canada. The landlord also lived on the second floor.
The landlord complained to the tenant about the poor condition of the house, which led to a bitter exchange. The landlord went to his portion and drew a pistol and opened fire on the couple, killing both the tenants.
Later, the owner of the house locked himself in the house fearing arrest. When the police arrived on the information of the neighbours, the owner of the house refused to come out and opened fire on the police.
A 57-year-old house owner was killed in the retaliatory firing. An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the incident completely.
