Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that relief to the people and economic development will be given priority in the budget of the next financial year.
A meeting was held on the budget proposals regarding the industrial sector under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in which well-known industrialists and investors from every sector of the country participated through video link, while federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Syed Naveed Qamar, Ahsan Iqbal, Makhdoom Murtaza Mehmood, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Mossadegh Malik, Advisor to Prime Minister Ahad Khan Cheema, Special Assistants Tariq Bajwa, Jahanzeb Khan, Member National Assembly Qaiser Sheikh, Governor State Bank, Chairman FBR and Concerned senior officials were also present.
In the meeting, proposals were presented by the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Industry and Production for various sectors, besides industrialists and investors also presented useful suggestions for increasing domestic exports.
The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to work on these proposals in detail and submit them.
Talking to the participants of the meeting, the Prime Minister said that maximum relief to the people and development of the economy will be given priority in the budget of the next financial year. He said that measures to increase the production and exports of the industrial sector will be a part of the budget, I will personally ensure that the proposals from the industrial sector are made a part of the budget.
The Prime Minister directed to remove all unnecessary obstacles between the growth of production of small and large and export industries. The previous government deliberately stopped investment and industrial development in the country. The contract was broken, which is affecting 22 crore people and industrialists.
The Prime Minister said that there are difficulties in the lives of nations, the Pakistani nation is a courageous nation, we are all gradually coming out of this economic problem, the government, the entire nation, industrialists and businessmen are working together for the better conditions of Pakistan. are doing
Shahbaz Sharif said that in the last one year, evil elements tried to harm the country sometimes by long and sometimes short marches and sit-ins. The events of May 9 not only spread evil in the country but also caused serious economic damage to Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that the government will further reduce the cost of production by providing cheap energy to industries, the government will also ensure that banks provide loans to small industries on easy terms.
The Prime Minister also directed his adviser Ahad Cheema to finalize the proposals given by the industrialists in the meeting and prepare them for inclusion in the budget.
