Lahore: The court declared inadmissible the request of former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to be restored to the party post.
The hearing on the petition to restore PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif to the post of party president was held in the Lahore High Court, in which the court upheld the registrar office’s objection to the petition.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi, while hearing the application of local lawyer Afaq Ahmed, declared it inadmissible.
It should be noted that the Registrar Office of Lahore High Court had objected to the petition, in which it was said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court, the petitioner should approach the Supreme Court. Lahore High Court is subordinate to the Supreme Court, hearings cannot be held here.
