Peshawar: Peshawar: The court ordered the release of Arbab Jehandad, the former member of the assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who was arrested in the May 9 incidents.

Arbab Jahan Dad, a former member of the assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who was arrested on charges of violent incidents, arson and vandalism on May 9, was heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court on the bail application.

The police told the court that a case of vandalism and arson was registered against Arbab Jahan Dad on May 9 and 10. The accused vandalized within Khan Raziq police station.

Judge Dr. Amir Nazir, while hearing the application, granted Arbab Jahan Dad’s bail and issued an order to release him.

Meanwhile, the police raided the house of former provincial education minister Atif Khan in Islamabad, where his cousin was arrested in the absence of the former minister.
