Islamabad: Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy Ping Chen Shui has said that China is interested in increasing investment in the nuclear energy sector in Pakistan.
A delegation led by China National Nuclear Corporation Vice Chairman Liu Jing and Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan Ping Chenshui met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif yesterday.
The delegation told the Prime Minister that China is interested in further increasing investment in nuclear energy sector in Pakistan and in this regard, delegation level meetings will be started soon, which was welcomed by the Prime Minister.
Talking to the delegation, the Prime Minister said that the expansion of strategic relations between Pakistan and China is a testament to the decades-long friendship between the two countries.
