May 9 Events;  40 PTI workers have been prosecuted for terrorism provisions

Lahore: In the wake of the May 9 incidents, terrorism provisions were dropped from the cases registered against 40 PTI workers.

After the arrest of Imran Khan, the case of arson and damage to property was heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court, in which the police during the hearing of the bail application of 40 PTI workers in the case registered in Khadian police station of Kasur. Submitted a report on the abolition of terrorism provisions.

In front of Judge Ejaz Ahmed Butar, Police Inspector Rashid Shahzad submitted a report to remove the provisions of terrorism from the case. The investigating officer said that during the investigation of the case, the provisions of terrorism are not activated.

During the hearing, the accused workers of PTI appeared in the court along with the lawyer, where the lawyer took the stand that if the provisions of terrorism have been removed from the case, then we withdraw our guarantees.
