Karachi: In spite of light rain and drizzle in other areas including the suburbs of Pirko city, there was no significant difference in the heat intensity, and the heat intensity is likely to remain for the next three days.
During the hot and humid weather on Monday, due to the effects of the western system passing near the city, light rains started in Nooriabad and Kathor.
In the suburbs of the city, Port Qasim, Steel Town, Gadap Town, Pepperi, Malir Cattle Market, Bin Qasim Town, Gulshan Hadid, Shah Latif Town and Buffalo Colony, some light rain and some showers and thunderstorms.
Some parts of the city continued to be cloudy during the sunshine, which reduced the heat and made the weather a bit pleasant.
Shahrah Faisal, Gulshan Jamal, Clifton and Sadar, Korangi Creek received light rain. In the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, lightning continued to shine in different areas of the city till late night.
According to the forecast of the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, the city is expected to remain hot and humid during the next three days, during which the maximum temperature may be recorded between 35 and 37 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the districts of rural Sindh are likely to experience moderate to heavy rains with intermittent thundershowers till May 31.
