Talking to the media after the meeting in Adiala Jail, the Deputy Commissioner said that no abuse is being done to women in the jails while they have all the facilities, if a woman has any medical problem, a doctor is arranged for her. Also exists.

The Deputy Commissioner said that facilities are being provided to the prisoners as per the code of conduct and rules of the jail, if anyone has any particular problem or disease, it can be resolved only after consultation with the doctors.

SSP Anush Masood said that abuse is a thing of the past, women prisoners are being treated very well in jails and they are also being given medical facilities. It is said that everyone is being given the same facility.

Talking to the media, he said that a total of 10 PTI women are imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail, they met all the women and spoke to them one by one. . Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi constituted a two-member committee, comprising Deputy Commissioner Lahore and SSP Investigations, on the allegation of ill-treatment of women prisoners in jails. It has been directed by the Chief Minister that the members of the committee should meet the women in the jails and look into the matter very closely.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government released the details of the women arrested in the May 9 incidents, after which a total of 32 women were arrested, out of which 21 have been released while the remaining eleven are in jails on judicial remand.
