Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has formed a committee to prepare for local body elections in Punjab.
According to the statement issued by PTI’s central media department, former Speaker Punjab Assembly Sabtain Khan has been appointed as the chairman of the committee, while Humayun Akhtar along with Riyaz Fatiana, Rai Azizullah, Faisal Sher Jan, Tariq Deen, Hafiz Farhat, Waseem Qadir and Ijaz Minhas have also been appointed as the chairman of the local body committee.
Apart from this, Farrukh Habib West Punjab, Sadaqat Ali Abbasi North, Dr. Yasmin Rashid Central while Aun Abbas Bapi have been appointed as Regional President of South Punjab. Apart from them, Rai Murtaza West Punjab, Hammad Azhar Central Punjab and Moin Qureshi have been appointed Regional General Secretaries of Local Government Committee in South Punjab.
Secretary General of PTI Umar Ayub has signed the notification for the formation of a committee in connection with the preparations for local body elections in Punjab.
