The Psychiatric Institute in New York, Harvard Medical School and Columbia University jointly conducted this research. In summary, 30 minutes of daily exercise and a multivitamin diet keeps the brain energized.

Experts have presented their research in the journal ‘Clinical Nutrition’ and said that several types of vitamins reduce aging-related changes in the brain. Thus, it is believed that with continuous use and exercise, the lifespan of the human brain can be reduced by up to 3 years.

In this regard, 3500 elderly people have been examined continuously for 3 years. Consumers will be asked to either take a centrum silver multivitamin or another two that was a dummy drug (placebo). Each year they were put through a different memory test that consisted of words and pictures.

Experts found that people who took the vitamin outperformed others in tests and their mental improvements persisted for years. Thus, scientists insist that both vitamins and exercise keep the brain young.
