Abu Dhabi: A fire broke out in a boat at the port of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which was quickly put under control.
According to Urdu News, the Dubai Civil Defense in the United Arab Emirates put out a fire in a boat at the port of Bur Dubai.
A spokesman for Dubai Civil Defense says that a fire was reported in the boat at 9 am on Saturday, on which teams were immediately dispatched.
Teams from Etihad Fire Station reached Bur Dubai Port within 6 minutes, later teams from Maritime Rescue Centre, Al Karama and Al Ras Fire Station also participated in the rescue operations.
After 45 minutes of efforts, teams of rescue and fire fighters brought the fire under control and started a cooling operation. No one was injured in the fire incident.
The incident is being investigated.
