Well-known Bollywood actor Kamal Haasan termed the anti-Islamic film The Kerala Story as propaganda.

According to the report of Indian Media News Agency, famous Bollywood actor and director Kumar Haasan was asked about the film The Kerala Story, and he said, “I told you, these are propaganda films in which I am against it, lies are being sold in the name of true story.

The film claims that around 32 thousand women are missing from Kerala and these women have joined ISIS after accepting Islam and have been sent to other countries of the world including India for terrorist activities.

The film was released on May 5, a week before the elections in the state of Kerala, which further fueled the rift between India’s Muslims and Hindus.

On the other hand, the actors including Bollywood are also divided into two groups regarding the film. Some say that the film is reflecting the society, while one section is calling it the root of Hindu-Muslim riots.
