Karachi: During the looting incident of 4 robbers riding a motorcycle in Manzoor Colony, a burger vendor was killed by indiscriminate firing. The deceased was a father of 3 children.
According to the details, robbers fired indiscriminately during the looting incident near Manzoor Colony Ghazali Road Khizra Mosque area of Baloch Colony, in which one person was killed. .
According to the police, the deceased was identified as 30-year-old Adeel Ahmed son of Shakeel Ahmed, the deceased was a resident of Manzoor Colony, Sector 11, Junejo Town, House No. 707/A.
Imran, the cousin of the deceased while talking to Express, said that the father of the deceased Adeel Ahmed had passed away a long time ago, the deceased shifted to Karachi from Hyderabad 10 years ago and used to work at a burger stall with his relative. The deceased had married love 5 years ago and has two daughters and a son. Adeel started his own burger business last week and was the sole breadwinner of the house.
Residents of the area while talking to Express said that at the time of the incident, Adeel made his friend stand on his stall and went to get some goods from his cousin’s burger stall which he had run out of, that he rode two 125 motorcycles near Khizra Masjid. 4 boys were fleeing by looting mobile phones and cash from people in the area and firing indiscriminately, when Adeel came under the fire of the accused.
The media was present on the spot till 6 hours after the incident, but the police did not reach there.
The regional leader of Tehreek Labeek Pakistan said that not only in this area but also in the whole city, the series of looting and shooting of citizens by bandits is increasing day by day. No action is being taken which is momentary.
He said that the deceased Adeel Ahmed was the support of his family in this inflation, now it is the responsibility of the government to fix the stipend for the deceased’s widow, children and his mother so that the family can survive.
