Pemra took notice of the controversial content of the TV drama 'Tere Bin'

Karachi: The controversial content of Wahaj Ali and Yamuna Zaidi’s drama ‘Tere Bin’ also forced the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority to take notice.

A promo video of the play went viral on social media, in which the scenes of violence between Wahaj and Yamuna provoked people.

After heavy criticism from users, the audio of the video was slightly modified but the footage remained and now Pemra has issued an official warning to the makers of the drama.

In its press release on Twitter, Pemra warned drama makers against airing inappropriate content and termed it against the Electronic Media Regulation.

The regulatory authority has strictly directed the management to remove the contentious content and not to broadcast such content in future and has indicated strict action against the violation.
