Karachi: The Sindh government has banned the establishment of cattle markets in Karachi except at designated places.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, illegal cattle markets have been banned under Section 144, which will be applied immediately, police will be authorized to take action against those who violate the order.
According to the notification, the eight cases in which cattle markets have been allowed in the city are Tesertown Northern Bypass (Super Highway), Asu Goth Malir, Cattle Market Landhi, Chawl Godam Landhi, Hamdard University Manghopir, Moach Goth Baldia Town, Cantt Mundi Clifton, Cattle Mundi Cantonment Board included.
