Rawalpindi: 3 children were burnt to death in a gas cylinder explosion at home in Shamsabad area.
According to the spokesperson Rescue 1122, a mother and a child are injured due to fire as a result of the explosion, who are being given medical assistance in the hospital. Initial reports indicated that the occupants of the affected house were using gas cylinders due to gas loadshedding.
This morning, when the woman lit the stove to cook breakfast, there was a loud explosion, as a result of which the whole house caught fire and 2 young children on the bed were burnt to death on the spot, while 3 people including the mother were burnt. Got injured.
A child injured in the incident also later died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, taking the death toll to three.
Later, rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control and shifted the injured to Holy Family Hospital in critical condition.
