Islamabad: The World Bank has approved financing of 213 million dollars for Pakistan.
According to the details, the money provided by the World Bank will be spent on measures to provide employment, provision of essential services and protection to the population of the province against natural disasters in the flood-affected areas of Balochistan, in addition to 35 thousand. Grants will also be given to individuals for construction of houses.
In this regard, the country director of the World Bank, Naje Benhesen, says that a total of 2.7 million affected population in Balochistan will benefit, the financial package is part of the post-flood rehabilitation program.
He further said that they are working together with the provincial government to help the flood-affected community, the affected population is being helped in employment, agriculture and infrastructure construction.
