Lahore: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the attack on Jinnah House on May 9 and violent incidents in other cities were planned and it was a regular rebellion against the state.
While talking to the media at Jinnah House, Khawaja Asif said that what we saw on the TV screens in 14, 15 days, it is completely different to see here. He said that the way Jinnah House was set on fire and damaged, it was all planned. The number of events that took place on that day and in all the cities, would send the message that this was a formal uprising.
He said that 8, 10 days were prepared for it. To me, it was rebellion against the state. There was a murderous attack on Imran Khan, his reaction did not come, why was he arrested? Imran Khan never missed an opportunity in his conversation. Imran Khan has always targeted Pakistan Army. This is sad and sad. Here too, pictures of Quaid-e-Azam were burnt, destroyed. These people were not Pakistani mentally and ideologically, they did not even spare the martyrs. The martyrs, who sacrificed, their memorials were insulted.
The defense minister said that there could be a hundred differences but the red line which has never been crossed in the 75-year history and no one could have thought of it. The red line was violated deliberately, they came with this intention. No civilian building was attacked on May 9. They say it was the Quaid-e-Azam’s house, a civilian house. The Defense Minister said that the house owned by the Quaid-e-Azam was the Corps Commander House.
Khawaja Asif said that on this day there was a rebellion against the state, Allah saved him from it. Everywhere you will see the same pattern and procedure. This shows that they were trained. An attempt was made to send a message to the world that monuments and houses are not safe in Pakistan. A person has lost his mental balance by losing power. He said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the banning of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Speaking to the media, the Defense Minister further said that as many people are leaving politics, see how long ago they entered politics. The army has no interference in politics at this time. An organization is avoiding politics. Imran Khan’s reference is his own past. NAB is an independent institution that can call anyone it wants. Imran Khan did not condemn this incident for 10, 12 days and then condemned it by turning left.
He said that the judiciary has become the judge of its own audios. The main conspirator is Imran Khan. Cases are going on against those who have a role. Those involved should be punished. There has been too much defeat in our environment. Imran Khan wants to talk with only one organization. All stakeholders should sit together and talk.
