Karachi: Inter exams in the city Science, Commerce and Humanities exams are starting from May 30 for which all preparations have been completed.
The exams are being conducted in two phases. In the first phase, there will be second year exams and in the second phase, the first year exams will be held. The board has announced to conduct e-marking for the first time which will be at commerce private/regular first year level.
A total of 1 lakh 14 thousand 594 candidates are participating in the first phase exams in which more than 58 thousand students will give the exams in the morning and more than 55600 in the afternoon.
Chairman Inter Board Karachi Professor Dr. Saeed Uddin told the press briefing that the board has formed vigilance teams for each district. There are separate vigilance teams of Director General Colleges Sindh Professor, Regional Director, Chairman Board and Controller. There are total 59 sensitive examination centers including 30 in the morning and 29 in the afternoon.
On a question, the chairman board said that commerce private will do e-marking in the first year and they are tendering for it, e-marking is expensive.
The chairman board said that we owe Rs 830 million to the Sindh government in terms of enrollment and examination fees.
