Karachi: FIA immigration staff offloaded a passenger trying to go to Baku on a fake Pakistani passport from Karachi airport.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, FIA Immigration offloaded the passenger after finding fake travel documents during the operation at Karachi Airport.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, a passenger identified as Prowahab Ali Cheema, who was going to Baku by Flight No. 9543, identified as Sub-Inspector Islam Rajpark, was interrogated. During the search, a fake Pakistani passport was found in the belongings of the accused, with a fake visa of Portugal and several immigration documents for arrival and departure. Stumps were attached.
According to the IBMS records, the immigration stamps proved to be fake, the said passport was falsified and the information of another passenger was found on screening, however the photograph was of a passenger named Wahab Ali Cheema.
According to FIA spokesperson, the accused has been transferred to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for legal action and further investigation is underway.
