Jamshed Cheema and Musrat Jamshed Cheema also announced to quit politics along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
While holding a press conference with Musrat Jamshed Cheema in Islamabad, Jamshed Cheema said that he condemns the events of May 9.
He said that senior leadership and Imran Khan are included in the narrative created in 13 months. The atmosphere created by this narrative culminated in the events of May 9.
He said that the attack on Jinnah House on May 9 was not planned by anyone, it was only a protest plan. We also could not control the crowd and there was no peaceful protest.
He added that we failed to prevent the events of May 9, we accept our failure. During the protest there was arson which was wrong.
It should be noted that Jamshed Cheema and Musrat Jamshed Cheema are considered close associates of Imran Khan.
