Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir has said that what happened on May 9 is very sad and condemnable.
According to ISPR, General Syed Asim Munir visited Police Line Islamabad in connection with Pakistan Martyrs’ Day. He addressed the Islamabad police officers, jawans, families of police martyrs.
The Army Chief said that what happened on May 9 is very sad and condemnable. The nation will neither forgive nor forget those who desecrate the memorials of the martyrs and harm their dignity and will not tolerate such a thing. will be done
The Army Chief said that those martyrs whom Allah Almighty has given eternal life, nothing can nullify their sacrifices.
He further said that Pakistan Army, police and law enforcement agencies are like the symbol of the state and like a lead wall which does not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the dignity of the country.
The Army Chief said that I want to convey this message to the heirs of the martyrs, today the people of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army stand and will continue to stand with the relatives of the martyrs of all law enforcement agencies.
The Chief of Army Staff was received by the Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan on arrival at the police line.
