The anti-corruption court rejected Parvez Elahi's interim bail

Lahore: The anti-corruption court rejected the interim bail of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi.

In the case of irregularities in the development projects, the anti-corruption court ordered the cancellation of the interim bail of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi on the basis of non-compliance. Anti-corruption court judge Ali Raza also dismissed his plea for exemption from attendance.

It should be noted that Parvez Elahi did not appear in the anti-corruption court even today despite the expiry of his interim bail. Lawyer Amjad Pervez filed a request for Parvez Elahi’s attendance waiver on medical grounds. The lawyer argued that Parvaiz Elahi is suffering from chest pain and therefore cannot appear in the court.

During the hearing, the prosecutor told the court that Parvez Elahi’s medical is fake. The court asked the lawyer to bring and show the reports, I will decide now. The court directed to submit the medical reports immediately.

It should be noted that Parvez Elahi’s request for attendance exemption was approved at the previous hearing.
