Karachi: More than 1,000 dead chickens brought for supply to hotels and marts in Korangi area were recovered.
Awami Colony Police, during a patrolling operation at stop number 4 in Korangi area, recovered more than 1000 dead chickens which were packed in 2 Suzukis.
The police arrested three persons for supplying dead chickens, including Hasnain Aslam, Javed and Farooq. The three arrested persons revealed during the investigation that they used to buy dead chickens from different poultry farms of Thatta and supply them in Karachi at a low price.
The accused said that the recovered dead chickens were to be supplied to hotels and marts in different areas of Gulshan Hadid, Korangi and Landhi. The police have registered a case against the arrested accused.
