The head of Iran’s nuclear program, Mohammad Eslami, has promised that Tehran will cooperate with international inspectors on any new activity.
According to the official statement, Tehran is willing to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Mohammad Eslami said that Iran is working under IAEA safeguards and will coordinate with IAEA whenever it starts new activities.
His statement came after a report by a foreign news agency detailed Tehran’s new underground system near a nuclear enrichment facility.
The report sparked renewed debate in the Middle East, with Israel’s national security adviser saying yesterday that the nuclear site was out of range of US airstrikes but still not completely safe from attack.
