Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved grants for various projects, including the involvement of the Sindh government in the mangroves project.
According to the details, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting of the Cabinet was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. In the meeting, the inclusion of the Sindh government in the mangroves project under the Indus Delta project was approved. The mangroves project will generate 20 to 22 million dollars annually till 2043.
The ECC also approved the payment mechanism for the Och Power project. After approval, the project will save 33 billion rupees for 7 years.

The ECC approved a grant of Rs 10 billion 74 crore for the Federal Directorate of Ammunition, Rs 42 crore for the Ministry of Information, Rs 208 crore for the Intelligence Bureau.
In the meeting, a grant of Rs 49 crore 72 lakh for the Ministry of Housing, more than Rs 26 crore 39 lakh for the Controller General of Accounts was also approved.
