Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has said that the attacks on military installations on May 9 are reprehensible and momentary, and strong action should be taken against those involved in the incidents.
During the press conference after his release from Adiala Jail, he said that it is necessary to release thousands of innocent workers of PTI because few people will be involved in the incidents, there should be an investigation, the strength of the army is not only from guns but from the nation. “I have been associated with the army for 3 generations, spent 15 days in jail and during that time got a lot of time to assess the situation,” he said.

He said that the third major stakeholder is Tehreek-e-Insaaf, PTI is the only national party, thousands of workers are in jails, the fourth stakeholder is PDM which is our opposition political party.
Asad Umar said that if the elections are held today, Tehreek-e-Insaaf will form the government in the Federation, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while PDM parties will form the government in Sindh, this is a political reality.
