The decision to take the 11th and 12th exams in Karachi from May 30

Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to hold the class 11th and 12th exams in 3 divisions of the province from May 30, while it has also demanded from K Electric and the federal government not to load-shed the exam centers in the province.

Universities and Boards Minister Ismail Rahu said that the 12th exams will be held in two shifts from May 30 in Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas. In Sukkur, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad, matriculation exams have ended and class 12th has started.

Minister Education Board further said that 4 lakh 89 thousand students across Sindh including Karachi will participate in the 11th and 12th examinations, 390 vigilance teams have been formed in all divisions while 700 examination centers have been established and in Karachi 16 examination centers of class 11th and 12th are sensitive.

Ismail Rahu said that women vigilance teams have also been formed for the visits of female students to the examination centers, the use of mobile phones by students and teachers during the examinations will be banned and copycats will be banned.

The provincial minister said that 3 thousand 565 students were caught copying and 2 thousand 600 mobile phones were seized in the matriculation exams and more than 800 students were caught in the matriculation exams changing copies and giving exams instead of others.
