Leading Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has revealed that directors used to hesitate while casting her for films.
Kriti Sanon recently gave an interview to the Indian media and talked about the difficulties she faced in the early days of her film career.
“Initially filmmakers and directors were reluctant to take me on board for films because when you enter the film industry and you belong to a family where no one has worked in films before,” he said. So it takes time for people in the industry to know your name.
So, when I entered the industry, I wanted people to know my name but only because of my talent, she added.
Kriti Sanon said, “Before ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Lokka Chuppi’, I always wanted validation for my performance and thus I was taking small steps in the right direction.
He said that after the movie ‘Mimi’ my career took a big turn, I got my first set of best actor awards and it took me 8 years to achieve this achievement.
Expressing her frustration, she said that there were many moments when I knew I could do more but I didn’t get the kind of opportunities I wanted to get.
