The US Secret Service arrested the driver of the truck that crashed into the White House on Monday night.
A Nazi Party flag was also recovered from inside the truck, which crashed into the Lafayette Square barrier in front of the White House.
The Secret Service’s chief of communications said in a statement that “according to preliminary investigations, the driver intentionally rammed the truck into the Lafayette Square barriers.”
The US Park Police will file the case while the Secret Service will assist in the investigation.
No Secret Service or White House officials were injured in the crash.
