The spokesman of the Afghan Ministry of Mining and Petroleum Humayun Afghan has said that several countries have shown interest in investing in lithium reserves.
In a statement, Humayun Afghan said that China will invest up to 10 billion dollars in lithium reserves.
The spokesman says that Afghanistan is one of the major countries with lithium reserves.
He said that lithium reserves are large in Kannada, Nuristan, Helmand provinces.
