Lahore: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) says that no one has stopped anyone from broadcasting the speeches of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

In Lahore High Court, despite the court order, a petition was heard against the ban on broadcast of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s speeches.

In the response submitted by Pemra to Imran Khan’s request, it was said that TV channels are not broadcasting Imran Khan’s speeches on their own. No one was stopped from broadcasting Imran Khan’s speeches. The court directed Imran Khan’s lawyer to file a reply to PEMRA’s reply.

In the petition filed by Imran Khan in the court, a position was taken that the Lahore High Court had suspended the notification of ban on broadcasting of Imran Khan’s speeches. Despite court orders, Chairman PTI’s speeches are being prevented from being aired. In this regard, the court decision should be implemented.
