Avoidance of Double Taxation: Signing of Convention between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Islamabad: Double Taxation Avoidance Convention was signed between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

According to the details, the third round of negotiations between the delegations of Pakistan and Afghanistan in the Federal Board of Revenue took place in Islamabad. The talks between the two delegations were held in a friendly atmosphere.

Sources said that after detailed discussions, both sides have agreed on the agreed draft, the agreed draft was signed by the heads of the two delegations.

On this occasion, Chairman FBR Asim Ahmed welcomed the Afghan delegation to Pakistan and said that the convention will further strengthen the economic relations between the two brotherly countries.

The Afghan delegation was headed by Mr. Nida Mohammad Siddiqui, Director of Revenue Legal Services and the Pakistani delegation was headed by Director General International Tax Operations, FBR, Sajidullah Siddiqui.
