Apoorva Bakshi, an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker for the popular Netflix series ‘Delhi Crime’, has joined the team as an executive producer inspired by Pakistan’s first hand-drone animated feature ‘The Glass Worker’.
Usman Riaz directed the film ‘The Glass Worker’ under the banner of Manu Animation Studios.
Now filmmaker Apoorva Bakshi will be the executive producer of this Pakistani film through her production company ‘Audacious Original’.
He praised the youth of Pakistan and said that the film ‘The Glass Worker’ is a truly remarkable project spearheaded by three talented youngsters like Usman, Maryam and Khizr.
He further wrote that this is a team of young artists from Pakistan who are revolutionizing South Asia through their creativity and exceptional work.
These talented youngsters have shown buildings similar to those in the largest city of their country Pakistan in the film ‘The Glass Worker’ and the clothes of the characters are also inspired by the country’s national dress, Shalwar Kameez.
Inspired by Studio Ghibli, the animated film tells the true story of a young Vincent and his father Tomas, who run the best glass workshop in the country and find their lives caught up in an impending war, which They themselves do not want to participate at all.
Then the arrival in town of an army colonel and his young, talented violinist daughter, Elise, shakes up the reality of the father-son relationship and puts the father-son bond to a severe test.
This first-of-its-kind hand-drone animated drama film produced under the banner of Manu Animation Studios will be presented in Urdu language for the Pakistani public.
