Montana: The governor of Montana has signed a legal document announcing a formal ban on TikTok. In this regard, Montana has become the first state to formally ban the popular app.

Be it in Europe or America, the popular short video app, Tik Tok, has been accused of passing its users’ data and information directly to the Chinese authorities. Although several US states have declared it, Montana is the first to sign and implement the ban.

It will then be officially banned in Montana on January 1, 2024. It should be noted that before this, the CEO of Tik Tok has also appeared in Congress, where he answered the steamy questions of the American representatives.

After Montana’s official ban on TikTok, there are fears that another wave of app bans could follow now that it has been legally banned in Montana.
