The Islamabad High Court will hold hearings in the new building from Monday

The Islamabad High Court will shift to a newly constructed building on Dastur Highway on Monday.

Earlier, from 2007 to 2009, then after 2011, it remained in the G-Ten building for 14 years. In between, after the High Court was closed for two years, all the cases were transferred to the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench.

Today is the last day of the High Court in Islamabad’s G-Ten building and cases will be heard in the newly constructed building on Shahrah Dastur from Monday, May 22.

A new High Court building has been constructed between Radio Pakistan and the Foreign Office building, all the High Court branches, courts and office equipment have been shifted to the new building. According to sources, the existing High Court building will be used for family courts, subordinate judiciary and judges’ courses.
