Like other countries, Pakistani film ‘In Flames’ is also being screened at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival.
According to foreign media reports, Canadian-Pakistani filmmaker Zarar Khan’s horror film ‘In Flames’ will be screened at the Film Festival on May 19 and 20 at Directors Fortnight, where the directors’ favorite films will be screened. A special exhibition is held.
Keep in mind that the story of this horror film revolves around a mother and daughter who have to face various difficulties and bear the rigors of society after the death of their male guardian.
Written by Zarrar Khan, this horror film does not have any glamor or songs to cast its spell on the viewers, but the simple story and emotional acting of this film is enough to keep the audience enthralled.
‘In Flames’ has not yet been released on the big screen in any other country including Pakistan, but it continues to be screened at various international film festivals including Cannes.
The cast of the film includes Ramisha Nawal, Bakhtawar Mazhar, Mohammad Ali Hashmi, Umeer Javed, Adnan Shah Teo, Gibran Khan, Wijdan Shah, Naveed Kamal and Sabia Zia while the complete cast of the film to participate in the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Adnan Shah Teo is also present in France along with his wife Hajra Khan.
