The fake account has been created by rich people with political agenda in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s ex-wife (Photo: File)
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima Khan has said that her children do not have any accounts on social media.
Jemima Khan made this clarification in response to Twitter screenshots of accounts created in the names of her two sons Sulaiman Isa Khan and Qasim Khan going viral and a user asking for confirmation of their authenticity.
Jemima Khan also took to Twitter to explain the fake accounts of the children and tweeted from her official account saying that the fake Twitter accounts in the name of her children were created by “Bahrupis” who have a political agenda in Pakistan.
Tagging Twitter owner Elon Musk in his tweet, he said, “This is what I was afraid of after Twitter’s blue tick verification was removed.”
Jemima Khan added in her tweet that my children are not on social media and neither have any intention (to be on social media).
Thanks @elonmusk
Fake accounts pretending to be my children, created by imposters with a political agenda in Pakistan. This is exactly what I feared would happen when you took away Twitter’s verification blue ticks. FYI my children are not on social media & have no plans to be. https://t.co/60p8lTSwoU— Jemima Goldsmith (@Jemima_Khan) May 18, 2023
